These Terms of Service apply to all agreements between Surfacelog ("Provider") and users of the surfacelog.app platform ("User"). By registering, the User accepts these terms.
Surfacelog provides a web-based platform for managing dives, guests, and digital logbooks. The exact scope of services depends on the chosen plan (Free, Starter, Pro). The Provider reserves the right to expand, modify, or discontinue features.
Use requires registration with a valid email address. The User is responsible for keeping login credentials confidential. Sharing with third parties is prohibited. The Provider reserves the right to suspend accounts in cases of misuse.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Billing is handled through an external payment provider (Stripe). Cancellation is possible at any time at the end of the billing period. No refunds are issued for already paid periods.
The handling of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy at /datenschutz. The User agrees that data is processed for the purpose of service delivery.
The Provider is not liable for damages resulting from outages, data loss, or unauthorized access, unless caused by gross negligence or intent. 99% platform availability is targeted but cannot be guaranteed.
The Provider reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Users will be informed of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance.
Applicable law and jurisdiction will be specified once the legal entity is established.
